Carotid Endarterectomy

This surgical illustration depicts a carotid endarterectomy, a procedure to remove plaque buildup from the carotid artery to restore blood flow and reduce stroke risk. The illustration was created using a surgical video as reference, with feedback from a neurosurgeon to ensure anatomical accuracy. Preliminary sketches were used to establish composition and proportions before the final digital painting in Photoshop.
